The 2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo.

Porsche is known for creating outstanding driver oriented cars. However, they also manufacture luxury, sporty SUV’s for the perfect mix between speed and practicality. What about a grand touring (GT) sedan? Yes, it may seem strange mixing these two concepts, but Porsche never disappoints.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo, housing a 4.0 liter V8 with 550 horsepower and 567lb-ft torque. It comes equipped with Porsche’s PDK (dual-clutch), 8 speed transmission. To aid stability at high speeds, improve cornering and agility, the Panamera has a three-piece deployable wing which works alongside the rear-wheel steering system.

The Panamera has a series of different drive modes; Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual. Normal mode being the closest to a comfortable ride and good fuel economy, on the other hand, sport plus increasing throttle response, stiffening the suspension and steering. Porsche did not forget the driver here, as individual mode allows the driver to create their own preferable driving setting.

The interior of the Panamera is covered with soft leather and wood. A 12.3-inch touchscreen is accompanied with touch surface buttons in order to control and navigate the car’s features. Being a GT sedan, there is enough space for both passengers and luggage.

In closing, the Panamera Turbo lives up to Porsche’s quality and fills the criteria of a GT sedan.
