Lifestyle Motors recently re-introduced the SsangYong Brand into the local market; completely changing the car sales dynamic. The SsangYong brand is known for the perfect mix of Rugged, Stylish and Fun.
The SsangYong Korando is a smaller SUV which adapts in most environments. It houses a 1.5L 4 cylinder GDI turbo-charged engine that produces 160 horsepower and 206lb-ft torque. Surely this is enough power for regular city driving or quick getaways on our roadways. Similar to the Rexton, the Korando has a modern and clean design. The lines and curves enhance the refreshing look of a compact SUV.
The Korando’s interior lives up to the refreshing and modern external design. The interior does have a few bits of plastic trim, however, the powered leather seats, infinity mood lighting and soft touch materials on the dash and doors surely makes up for it. The infotainment comes equipped with both apple carplay and android auto, making your commute easier. Don’t forget the safety features such as an engine immobilizer, air bags, head lamp adjust, ABS and collision sensors. Unfortunately, the model depicted has many blank buttons which takes away from the clean interior design. Although the Korando is a compact SUV, it has enough storage space both in the cabin and trunk.
The SsangYong Korando is indeed a stylish and fun SUV. I prefer this in comparison to the Rexton. The Korando simply suits my lifestyle better. The Korando starts at a special introductory price of TT$244,950.00 (price is subject to change.)
