Indian Arrival day, imagine thinking it was going to be a regular photoshoot, only to realize what the subjects were; a Ferrari F12 and a Porsche GT2 RS. I was speechless. These two beautiful beasts in front of me. Wow! The Porsche producing 700 horsepower and the Ferrari producing 731 horsepower. Just wow!
The camera came up in front of me, perfect grip, sight alignment and the shooting started. Angle after angle, snap after snap. I was taken out of my zone when the Ferrari was started, the grumble of the engine sounded almost mystical. It was soon joined by the Porsche. The boys were ready to roll.
We followed in our humble Mazda 3, as more road photos and videos had to be done. To my surprise while we were driving we had the pleasure of having the Porsche GT3 RS join us on the drive. Imagine the excitement, approximately 2,000 horsepower amongst three purely track oriented cars. Other cars on the roadways slowed down to see the machines; it’s not an everyday sight. Some may even say, “It’s like a fast and furious movie”. One could see phones coming through the windows to take photos and videos. Social media was buzzing, I assure you.
We made a brief stop to fuel up then proceeded to Starbucks at Trincity. Onlookers came out to view the cars, photographers were going crazy. The owners just rocked back and enjoyed their java and ole talk. It was a cool chill.
After a while we decided to return to base. I enjoyed a comfortable drive in the GT3RS with the windows down, fresh air and the sound of horses pulling our metal chariot.
