2015 Nissan 370Z

The Nissan 370Z, with a unique coupe design, wide track and short wheelbase it is surely a sports car like no other. It packs some impressive performance with a DOHC 3.7 liter V6 engine; producing 332 horsepower and 270lb-ft torque. Additionally, owners have the option to either the 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission which comes with a rear-wheel drive system.

The iconic design is heavily influenced by the original 240Z. Hence the styling cues incorporated in the aerodynamic exterior. Although it is a sports car, I found that not many people are drawn to the 370Z. It blends in, be it in a crowded car park or cruising on the highway. Upon further inspection you begin to truly appreciate the aggressive fenders.

The interior of the 370Z spoils both passenger and driver alike. The instrument panel is built around a 2 seat layout and is driver oriented, providing easy access and visibility to key data. This is all done without sacrificing the driving position. The seating position being low and seats hugging your body aids in the sport car experience. Surprisingly, the ride quality is comfortable for everyday driving. The steering wheel has a “baseball-style stitching and large thumb grips and palm rest areas for improved feel on long drives.”

So, what do I think of the Nissan 370Z?

Simple, it’s an impressive dynamic sports car. It meets more than the eye can see. It’s definitely a car that I would drive.
